The rooms at Camellia 5 Hotel were really comfortable and cozy. I loved the well-appointed rooms with private bathroom facilities. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the free Wi-Fi was a bonus for me as a solo traveler. It made staying connected so easy!
Personally, I found the partially open bathrooms with bathtubs or showers a bit odd. But hey, that's just me.

The rooms at Camellia 5 Hotel were amazing! They had well-appointed rooms with private bathroom facilities and free Wi-Fi. It felt so cozy and comfortable, like a home away from home. I loved the separate bathtub and shower in the bathroom, it made me feel like I was in a spa!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the partially open bathrooms with bathtubs or showers. I prefer more privacy when using the bathroom.

I chose Camellia 5 Hotel because it was within walking distance of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, which I really wanted to visit. But I was pleasantly surprised by the car and bicycle rental services they provide. This made it convenient for me to explore other attractions in Hanoi at my own pace. Additionally, I really enjoyed the meals at the on-site restaurant, which offered a delicious variety of European and Asian dishes.
Bed wasn't the best, but for the cheap price and the attentive staff, it's not really a complaint.

As a senior woman, I found the decoration of the hotel to be charming and cozy, with lovely traditional Vietnamese touches. The general areas were well-kept and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with elevators available to access all floors and clear signage throughout the property. It made getting around much easier for someone like me who appreciates a bit of extra assistance.
For a better vacation for senior people, I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there. Perhaps a little more attentiveness and consideration towards the unique needs of older guests would have made the experience even more delightful.

The room at Camellia 5 Hotel was just perfect for me! It had everything I needed - free Wi-Fi, a separate bathtub and shower in the bathroom, and cable TV. I felt so comfortable and relaxed during my stay.
I personally didn't enjoy the partially open bathroom with the rainfall showerhead. But hey, that's just my opinion.

This made it convenient for me to explore other landmarks in Hanoi easily. Additionally, I enjoyed the variety of European and Asian dishes served at the on-site restaurant.
Patchy wifi signal , but better on the rooftop.

I recently stayed at Camellia 5 for 5 nights during my visit to Hanoi. The hotel's location on a herb-filled street in the old quarter was a delightful sensory experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with an efficient air conditioning system. The presence of a lift was a convenient bonus. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.
Would recommend this hotel.
